I'm not much of a public forum person, but I figured I would post a thread where all new members can tell us a little bit about themselves. Okay, I'll go first. I'm thirty-four years old and married to a wonderful woman. We live on a 300 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, United States. I've worked in various fields, including shipping, forklift-operator, and medical van driver. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and gaming. I like to spend time with my family and take care of our animals. I got into Hitman almost by accident after I got Hitman 2 as a gift. It was the first time I had ever played a game with so much freedom, so I was instantly hooked. I've been practicing my craft and inventing new tricks for years. I don't like to speed run all the time. I enjoy just finding neat ways to kill targets in a quick and timely manner. Some of you may know me from YouTube or Steam.

I'm 16 living somewhere in an igloo in Canada and usually stream on twitch.tv/lanayru_ , I'm Polish and do speak the language and tend to swear alot . Not much else about me to say other than I am studying to go to college for broadcasting focusing on audio.

Hi, my name is pjlx911 (or PJ for short). I am a 29 year old, full time college student. I am a programmer/artist and I am currently working on the AI for a game that, happily, just got greenlit on Steam (the name of the game is DarkStorm, and the Steam link is HERE). In the meantime I am working on my skills as a programmer/game designer (as I just fallen in love with it a while ago). If you don't see me trolling around Kotti's channel, I am either playing a Hitman game, a racing game, or working on a project. Although I think ANY game is better than AbSUCKlution, I much prefer Contracts (even though I came in playing Blood Money). So, if you don't see me playing Contracts, I might be playing NFS: Carbon or NFS: High Stakes (two other games that I am interested in looking at speed-running)...Technically, I also think that the new Grid Autosport game looks INCREDIBLY speed-runnable, so I might look at starting up something for that (if anyone wants in on this, let me know). If you guys want to hit me up on Steam, my ID is: steamcommunity.com/id/pjlx911 , and my channel on Twitch is: twitch.tv/pjlx911 . Please note that I tend to keep a pretty busy schedule, so if I'm not streaming as much as the others, don't be sad. Hope to have some fun!

I'm Kotti, a 22 year old student from Finland and I first played Hitman in somewhere around 2005 starting with Hitman 2 but I didn't really get hooked until I played Contracts some months later. I started watching a lot of Hitman speed and challenge runs when Blood Money was released but only started playing it speedily myself in 2008-ish. Nowadays I stream runs on Twitch, mostly Blood Money but also some Contracts, Absolution and various other games like Max Payne 2. Most people probably know me from the Blood Money PRO/SA run I did at Awesome Games Done Quick 2014. TwitchYoutubeSteamTwitter

wow Kotti we have so much similarities lol, the 2nd one was my first game too and I played it at around 2005 and wasn't interested untill contracts , I played the 2nd one and it was Kirov park meeting and me being tired, young and dumb I wanted to drive the boat(which you obviously can't) and I decided to run around and wondered why Russians shot at me but had fun randomly shooting, decided to give contracts a try because I wanted to give the series a better chance, wasn't dissapointed.

I'm Dzupakazul, a 20 year old soon-to-be university student from Poland. My first Hitman game was Codename 47 around 2002 and I played it many, many times before I even got to play Silent Assassin. Growing older and finally beating all the Hitman games, I grew fond of annually replaying them. Haven't started doing challenge runs until this year; my specialty lies with Hitman: Codename 47 - which I might try to get a single-segment run of down to take to ESA someday, maybe, but that's a long time from now - but I've also done Contracts runs, and you can find all of my content on my YouTube channel. Streaming is too hard on my computer. I hang out a lot on Kotti's channel, too. In general, I'm fiercely competitive in whatever game I play, so whether is it jumping headfirst into tough Doom .wads on Ultra-Violence, butting heads with Civilization IV AI, doing the final mission of Starcraft with only Marines or, of course, figuring out Hitman routes, I tend to keep myself entertained pretty well. Hi everyone!I'm Forsaken, a 23 years old college student in programming from France. I played my first video game when I was 4 and haven't stopped since then. My first Hitman game was Silent Assassin that I first played a long time ago and I really enjoyed it so I picked it up on Steam when it was on sale in 2012 to bring back some memories. After finishing it again I wanted to keep playing and since I did some Super Meat Boy speedruns a few months back I figured I could give Hitman 2 a try. I did a first segmented run in normal difficulty without caring about the rankings just to see how fast the game could be completed. This run is available on YouTube and SDA. I'm currently still working on my second run which will be far more interesting since I'm doing it in Professional difficulty and Silent Assassin rank only. The first 13 missions are available on YouTube. After this run will be completed, I may or may not start running Contracts since it's the same engine as Silent Assassin. I won't post a lot since I'm a very reserved guy but I will check out this forum very often and participate in threads about Hitman 2 since it's the game where I have the more knowledge. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Links:

I'm SuicideMachine, a 23 years old student from Poland. The first Hitman game, I've played was Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. Later on, I've played Contracts (which I hated at the time), Codename 47 and finally Blood Money (screw Absolution). I discovered speedrunning I think in 2006 with a speedrun of Quake 2, that I found on Google vidoes (I think the time was 31minutes something). Later I found some other speedruns and finally discovered SDA. I did some "casual" runs of Half-Life 2 Lost Coast, AVP2 and few others games. In 2012 when Syndicate (shooter), came out, I was one of the first doing individual level runs for it, but all of that was fairly "casual", either way. Somewhere in Q4 of 2013, I did some runs of Hitman: Conctrats (SA/Normal) - just for my own enjoyment. It's ony recently, when I've seen that HailThisFro actually started running Syndicate (SS), that I thought about taking it more seriously, being sure, I'm capable of beating time (and I beat it by over 16 minutes). Few month later, when Kotti started practicing Hitman Contracts SA/PRO, I thought about getting back to it (rerouting some levels to work at PRO difficulty). And that's pretty much where I'm now. Links: Ps. If someone tries to add me on Steam, mention that it's from this forum. I don't tend to keep some "randoms" on my friends list.

Hi,I'm Alexandru1768 and I'm 15 years old student from Italy. I love all types of games especially stealth (Hitman,of course) and MOBA (Dota 2) ones.
I started playing Hitman when I saw the game from my cousin's laptop and asked him if I could borrow the CD.I played it later at home and I loved it (it was Blood Money btw)! Then I've played,in chronological order:Codename 47,Absolution (it was ok-ish in my opinion, because of some new things...sadly introduced pretty badly),Contracts and Silent Assassin (played it for a short time, thou).
I've discovered speedrunning while searching videos on youtube and I enjoyed it,but I only recently tried speed running with some Blood Money levels.
You can add me on Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/id/Alexandru1768) if you want and that's pretty much it.
P.S:Kinda lazy description but yeah...

Nice to meet everyone. I love how the Hitman series brings together all kinds of different nationalities and backgrounds. Keep gaming friends!
To pjlx911: I found your game on Steam and, after reading that it's stealth action, I'm definitely going to be checking it out.

Hello i'm dareka00 20 years old studying Japanese language in France I started playing video games when i was 8 on playstation 1, few years later i switched to a PC and started playing WoW intensively, i was very lucky and managed to get in a high level raiding guild, with this guild i went pretty far into raiding i cleared BT and CoT3 pre nerf then i stopped playing wow with ~150 days of /played in 2009. After this period i didn't do anything noticeable until December 2012 when i attempted to reach a pro level as a sc2 player and reached grand master level during the Sc2:HoTS beta, in the end i gave up 3 months later seeing the amount of daily work you have to put in to stay competitive. A month later i started speedrunning hitman absolution (Any%/Purist/Single segment) and i'm still slowly working on it since. I'm not a very talkative person neither but if you seek help for hitman absolution feel free to contact me Contact and links: steamcommunity.com/id/sid00www.youtube.com/user/bhsid0www.twitch.tv/dareka00 (i won't stream until december most likely) twitter.com/Dareka00EN Battle.net EU : myon.2741

I'm Virgilia, a 20 year old game developer that is soon to be living in Finland. I got introduced to the Hitman games by a friend, with Hitman 2 being the first one i played. Recently started running Absolution Max Ratings% after lurking on Kotti's stream with the help of one of the viewers there (hopefully i'll finish a run of that, someday). Links: Steam Hitbox.tv Twitch (Not really used for streaming, very recently created) It's quite lovely to be part of such a community, perhaps one day i'll get to contribute something useful nice.

Hey there im Scareless and I'm from Greece.I'm 16 years old and I started playing games since I was 5 by playing Pokemon at Nintendo consoles.Afterwards my parents bought a PC for my older brothers and I used to watch them playing games and Hitman SA/Contracts was one of them.I loved the gameplay of these games and my brother really loved the hitman series. Then in 2008 I bought the Hitman 2 for PS2 and started playing it and simply loved it, then played Contracts as well.Recently I bought all the Hitman games and im currently playing all of them cause it's summer .Absolution was a bit of a disappointment though, but I hope they'll deliver with Hitman 6! I'll definetely support and every Hitman stream. I stream sometimes in twitch.tv/scarelesz

I'm CJ and I'm old as hell. Big fan of Hitman series. Not really a speed runner, I'm more of a strategy and challenge run guy mostly with the Dead Space series, although I am currently learning how to speed run Blood Money. Maybe more to come. I stream often on twitch.tv/cjgarof and post Blood Money runs and Fail Highlights regularly on youtube. youtube.com/cjgarof

I'm Max and I am 17. I have been playing Hitman since I was 7 when Contracts came out. Rest assured I didn't care about stealth or getting the silent assassin rating back then. I am currently trying to learn how to speed run Hitman: Blood Money and get Silent Assassin on every level.

Hello all! I am mendietinha and i live in brazil, i played mostly gta and pro evolution soccer games for years till i discovery hitman and start to play. after saw how difficult the game was and how some of those guys like kotti and hitgod did impossible things and make things look so easy, i get obsessed I´ve completed all the hitman series but it was BM that gets me good. Start playing over and over blood money till i made my first speedrun and post it on youtube. I get a better pc and could play fluently and record more and more, and discovering some bugs and routes that nobody has founded before, and was really honored to get subscribed by some of the best hitman players in the world. My things are speedruns, accidents only and general bugs and glitches. This is my youtube channel and it is an honor to be here: www.youtube.com/user/mendietinha

Hello everyone, My name is Mark, I'm 28 & from Ireland.
I have been playing Hitman since I bought 'Hitman Contracts' when It was released in 2004, I instantly fell in love with the dark visual style of the game, the haunting music of Jesper Kyd right form his name being introduced in the opening menu to the ambient music of each city & place visited by the mysterious bald protagonist with the bar-code on the back of his head? . Also the open freedom of each mission, just looking at the in game map & seeing each NPC moving around, in different rooms & different levels of buildings, all this gave me a slight mischievous feeling of the endless possibilities that lay ahead.
The next game I played was 'Silent Assassin' which was not as dark, but equally as impressive, after that was 'Blood Money', 'Codename 47' & recently 'Absolution' which kind of missed the point in my opinion. But It's Contracts that remains my all time favourite Hitman game.
Inspired by Kotti who I first seen on Twitch & the reason I'm here, I'm playing Silent Assassin again, but this time speedrunning for the first time & trying to get All Zeros & Silent Assassin Ratings form which I'm learning alot about the inner workings of the Hitman experience.
I have to thank Forsaken, the guy is possessed. And the excellent tool he created for Silent Assassin & Contracts & also his knowledge which he shares & that you all share here & elsewhere, all you guys here never stop amazing me with the countless ways you all manage to run each mission In each game, well done & keep it up.

Hello I'm nomad, a community college student majoring in auto mechanics and computers, I'm also a former game walkthrougher on YouTube. I remember investing hundreds of hours into blood money when it first came out but never took the interest in speedrunning. So far this year I've started speedrunning blood money april and learned so much from watching livestreams and raw runs on it. I'm very interested in learning other new strats that people are willing to offer here and put them to the test.
