I've never known that to happen. Which version was it? no idea, I just installed a random version that had a dvd iso since I'm currently on Linux and I noticed that using my normal strats do not work out on it, quite interesting |

Also, should Redemption at Gontranno be included in the spreadsheet? It doesn't give a rating or a time and I'm not aware of any runs of it done on Pro. Requiem is manually timed and not rated, the main reason I listed it was because I knew there was already a good run of it on Pro. Well, there's no way to get SA in Redemption at Gontranno since you have to kill everyone but I guess it's the same thing as Requiem. If Requiem is listed I think Redemption at Gontranno should be listed as well. I will probably run it after I'm done with the other missions. |

Sounds alright, unless someone can point out good exising runs of Redemption at Gontranno and St. Petersburg Revisited I'm going to leave them blank for now.
Also, I plan on adding C47 and Absolution to the spreadsheet probably after ESA and those are likely to come with a lot of blank spots. Not sure about how to deal with Absolution yet, thinking of having full levels, max ratings and expert/purist difficulty. I'm not familiar with C47 but any% on hard seems clear enough.

What do you think about having separate categories for AZ runs in HM2 and HMC? We have to remember that the only reason so many records are being broken now is because "All Zeros" used to be considered the ideal objective. Back then nobody cared about doing straight SA. I just hate to see all those guys' hard work not listed. They can probably be improved too. You can leave Blood Money out if you want, because getting AZ in that game is too messy.

I considered including AZ for H2 and HC but didn't as my knowledge on especially H2 is limited and I wanted to keep the number of lists down for starters. If anyone is willing to compile such lists I'll be happy to include them in the spreadsheet.

All Zeroes is now listed as a category in the Google doc thanks to Forsaken. If there are any other categories you'd like to see there, it can be done.
The C47 (4/13 levels listed) and Absolution (8/18 levels listed) tables are also on their way. They might not be very complete when posted but I'd like to have them be represented as well, even if they're not as popular as the other games.

I always thought sniper runs were more about style than speed, going for a long and difficult shot rather than shooting from point blank for maximum speed.

That's because for the Pro/SA category, the existing records use routes that are very close to optimal and there's little room for improvement. On the other hand as far as sniper runs go, I think there's a possibility of further improvement and finding new tricks/routes, which would be interesting to explore.
(Then again it would be a pain to complete some levels sniper-only, like Invitation to a Party)
