Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce to you Statman, a live statistics tracking program for games. Statman is completely configuration-free, easy to use, and plugs directly into supported games without the need for any interaction. Even though only Hitman Blood Money is currently supported, I intend on adding support for even more games, not restricted to the Hitman series (even though it's a priority). Here are the supported features for Hitman Blood Money: - Live tracking of the following statistics:
- Witnesses
- Bodies Found
- Covers Blown
- Caught on Camera
- Witnesses
- CQC Kills
- Enemies Killed
- Enemies Wounded
- Policemen Killed
- Policemen Wounded
- Innocents Killed
- Innocents Wounded
- Live tracking of in-game level time
- Live tracking of the current level and state
- Live tracking of the current level rating
- Ability to enable and disable cheats
- Ability to enable unlimited saving/loading for all difficulties
To use Statman, simply download it from the link below, extract it somewhere, and then run Statman.exe (either before or after launching your game). Game-specific features (such as enabling cheats) can be accessed by right-clicking on the Statman logo, and you can switch between themes by double-clicking on it. It should be noted that for Hitman Blood Money, Statman will only pickup the current level after the first level switch. It is therefore recommended (but not required) to launch Statman before launching the game. ScreenshotsDownloadYou can also find the source code here. As always, any sort of feedback is appreciated, so if you find any issues/bugs or wish to request a new feature please let me know! Additionally, if you think you can contribute to the development of this project feel free to reach me directly on Github! If you plan to use Statman during your stream I would greatly appreciate it if you also include the logo in the capture!

Would it be possible to add difficulty level somewhere there? Would make it comfier for runners not to have to show the difficulty by loading the game, if the Statman were to be on the side in a video.

Loading games is done in ILs. I personally wouldn't go out of my way to capture anything else besides gameplay, especially in an IL. This wouldn't be a substitute for the load/save menu regardless, especially in that context. Single segment runs only show difficulty selection once at the beginning of the run. IMO Unnecessary.

Haven't had much time to try this out yet and probably won't in a while, but in the one Terrorist playthrough of Curtains Down that I did, everything seemed to work very well, great job making this!
I agree that having difficulty visible like that isn't a replacement for trying to save/load to prove difficulty but that's something that hasn't really been enforced ever, it's just an easy thing to do if you want to prove you're on Pro. However, I personally would want include this (or the other tracker in case of H2/C) in any IL videos I make not because I want to prove anything, but because I think it's nice to have that information as a viewer. Ever since the trackers became a thing it's been harder for me to watch videos that don't show the tracker as I'm now used to having all that info during the run.
Assuming everything works as it should (seems to be the case) my only suggestion is really trivial and related to displaying it with the run. Forsaken's tracker was a bit more practical in that sense but I'd hope to see something even more compact, maybe even an option to only display the stats that are affecting the rating at that moment. So when rank is SA, display on the rank but when a witness is added, the rank changes to Professional and a line with "Witnesses - 1" gets added below it. Or just have the tracker take up less space in general.
But yeah, the looks thing is not exactly important at all, the tracker tracking things accurately is and it seems to be doing that just fine.

Bodies found does not seem to count target bodies at all. Although the rating does change. It counts non targets properly.
Also is there a variable for unconscious bodies found? Stats don't show them as found but it affects rating. Just wondering if there is a variable for it.

Stats don't show them as found but it affects rating. Just wondering if there is a variable for it. Indeed, the body count variable displayed is the non-target body count. I'll make sure to update it in order to include target body counts (depending on current difficulty). Additionally, there's another variable that counts towards your rating which I haven't been able to accurately identify (and by identify I mean figure out exactly what it counts), so maybe it's unconscious bodies. I'll take a look and if that's the case I'll replace something that's not relevant towards the rating with that.

So it appears that CJ was indeed right, and that unidentified variable was indeed the count of discovered unconscious bodies. I just released a new update (1.3.0.0, you can find the link on the first post) which removes all rating-unrelated stats from the interface and adds any and all stats that directly affect it (along with the current difficulty, as requested). Here's the full changelog: - Properly labeled a previously unknown HM3 stat variable (thanks CJ).
- HM3 body count now also counts target and unconscious bodies (based on current difficulty).
- Implemented live tracking of custom weapons and suit left on level for HM3.
- Removed Shots Fired, Headshots, Accidents, CQC Kills, and Targets Killed counts from the HM3 control.
- Added Covers Blown, Frisk Failed, Items Left on Level, and Difficulty tracking to the HM3 control.

I would prefer accidents to stay. It is extremely helpful to know if witnesses are dead or not.

Using the ICA box with statman running is making my game crash. I tried storing the w-2000 in the ICA box in AVY to see how items left on level worked. Crash.
I tried taking the Spas on a mission. Crash before mission start. Only happens with the app running.

Was 5 am. I didn't mean to say witnesses. I meant non targets that fail to die from intended accidents (witness or not). Bouncing off rails. Not falling down certain flights of stairs properly. A failed elevator push. It is a stat I look at all the time at mission end to evaluate things, and one that is good to know in speedrun save situation immediately.

I'll post feedback sometime tomorrow, but everything works so far. A couple things: I am also getting the ICA crashes CJ mentioned. Accidents would be nice to have back in the next update. This is fantastic though, great job!

I haven't had the chance to work on Statman recently, so sorry for any inconvenience caused.
I just released a hotfix release (1.3.1.0) in order to address the weapon storage crashing issue. It should be however noted that currently, weapons that are stored in ICA pickup boxes are not properly detected and have a negative effect on the calculated rating. I'll look into fixing this as soon as I can.

So after using it for about week, here's my feedback. - Has not had any errors - it's always been accurate
- Would like accidents back as well. Maybe make customizable view? (like adding or taking away what stats you want shown)
- Would be cool if there was a "compact view" of some sort to fit on a stream more easily. I've enjoyed displaying this program while streaming but it can be hard to fit in with the current layout it has. Maybe a view where they two columns of stats with the values on the right of them (as opposed to under them). If the "Statman" logo was still in a view like that, that'd be even better cause I like the name and the logo looks good
- Can't capture window with OBS, even with compatibility mode (I get a black box). Not a big issue, since it doesn't effect the programs functionality and I can just crop a monitor capture. Not much of a problem at all but I thought I'd mention it
- ICA box
Overall it's a great program and I love it so far, thanks for taking your time to make this! I've made a lot of use with the Unlimited Saves function already.

Been using this for a while. It's great. Some things that I would like to see.
1. Would be nice if Stats that affect SA rating changed red along with the rating color change. I keep having to squint at my 2nd monitor to tell what went wrong. Would be easier to identify with a color change or highlight. 2. I REALLY would like accidents to be included. Kotti has also said it should probably be there. (Saint's idea of customized field view is great btw, if it's possible) 3. A means of capturing via OBS window capture would be great. Although monitor capture isn't that big of a deal, it can sometimes affect performance while streaming. 4. If accidents isn't being included to maintain the layout, I can do without 'frisk failed' It's pretty obvious when it fails. You get shot, or they don't let you in.

I want to start running this, but my game is not detected at all. it remains on "waiting for game" and never detects. I normally play windowed 800 x 600, but I also tried full screen, neither work for me. It also crashes when I attempt to start A Vintage Year after selecting equipment/weapons. Hopefully this can be resolved soon. Thanks

1. Running the program as administrator may help. 2. It's likely it will only work with Steam version of the game.
